A home at 130 N. Quincy St. in Hinsdale sold for $4.04 million on Aug. 31, according to Shaw Local News Network.

The price works out to $797 per square foot for the 5,061-square-foot residence. Built in 2015, the three-story house has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a fireplace and parking for two cars. The lot covers 0.4 acres.

At $797 per square foot, the closing topped a July 2 sale at 132 S. Park Ave., where a 9,612-square-foot home sold for $5.3 million at $551 per square foot.

Another property on the same block, 447 N. Quincy St., sold Aug. 3 for $1,626,000, according to DuPage County Recorder of Deeds records published by The Hinsdalean. The 130 N. Quincy closing was nearly two and a half times that figure.

Buyer and seller names have not yet appeared in published deed records for the Aug. 31 closing.
