A San Diego-based real estate investment trust now owns the two-story commercial building at 724 N. York Road after paying $7,505,000 on Wednesday, June 24, making it the largest single transaction in the latest batch of DuPage County deed recordings for Hinsdale.

The buyer, Realty Income U.S. Core Plus 3 LP, is a fund entity of Realty Income Corporation (NYSE: O), an S&P 500 company that owns more than 15,500 properties across 92 industries. The seller was Hinsdale Real Estate Holdings LLC. The building was constructed in 2019 and sits on the York Road commercial corridor. Real Properties Realty Group lists 724 N. York Road as its office address in the Village of Hinsdale's business directory.

Realty Income's public filings show the Core Plus Fund invested $171.4 million across 21 properties in the first quarter of 2026 at a weighted average lease term of 9.7 years. The company's portfolio occupancy stood at 98.9% as of March 31, 2026, and its 2026 investment volume guidance was raised to $9.5 billion.

$4.8 million new-construction sale on Washington Street

One block from the Hinsdale Public Library, the newly built home at 215 N. Washington St. sold for $4,800,000 on Monday, June 23. The deed transferred from Everbrite LLC to the Gerald M. Randich Trust. The six-bedroom, 5.5-bath house spans 7,801 square feet on a third of an acre, was built in 2024, and listed and sold by Compass. At roughly $615 per square foot, the sale price ran 74.4% above the average of six Redfin-identified comparable sales nearby, according to Redfin market data. Property taxes on the home were $34,902 in 2025.

Residential closings: $557,500 to $2.28 million

Two of those sales went to LLCs: 439 N. Adams St. and 229 Fuller Road. Residents can check the Village of Hinsdale permit portal for any demolition or building permit applications filed at those addresses.
