Burr Ridge police logged a motor vehicle burglary, a simple assault and one arrest during the week of Oct. 11–17, according to the department's weekly media blotter.

The vehicle burglary was reported Oct. 16 at 7500 Willow Springs Road. The blotter lists it as a delayed report, meaning the victim contacted police after the fact. The incident comes one week after a cluster of seven motor vehicle burglaries reported Oct. 9 in the Carriage Way Drive, Post Road and Stirrup Place area, according to the department's prior week's blotter.

A simple assault was reported Oct. 12 in the 100 block of Carriage Way Drive. No additional details appear in the blotter.

Eduardo Eulogio, 52, of Chicago, was arrested Oct. 13 at County Line Road and 60th Street on a charge of driving while license revoked.

He was released on his own recognizance.

The blotter lists 28 incidents for the week. Six were traffic accidents: four involving property damage only, at locations including County Line Road and South Frontage Road on Oct. 13 and 73rd Place and Wolf Road on Oct. 15, plus two on private property at the 6100 block of South County Line Road on Oct. 12 and 100 Harvester Drive on Oct. 13. A minor-injury accident was reported Oct. 14 at Carriage Way and County Line Lane. A personal-injury accident occurred Oct. 17 at Plainfield Road and Pine Crest Court. A delayed hit-and-run was reported Oct. 15 at 79th Street and Creekwood Drive.

Officers also responded to suspicious-vehicle reports at South Frontage Road and 75th Street, the 11600 block of Briarwood Lane, 601 Burr Ridge Parkway, the 100 block of Kraml Drive and 15W100 Plainfield Road. Two loud-noise complaints came in from 77th Street and Wolf Road on Oct. 11 and 505 Village Center Drive on Oct. 15. A dispute involving a person who refused to leave was reported at a residence on 79th Street on Oct. 11.

Charges listed in the blotter are allegations. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty, and the department says details may change as investigations continue.
