The DuPage County Board votes Tuesday on adding a new member to the three-person panel that decides whether your Hinsdale property tax assessment is too high.

The board takes up the appointment of Tina Janopoulos to the county's Board of Review on Tuesday, June 23, under resolution CB-R-0033-26. The Board of Review hears property tax assessment appeals from homeowners across DuPage County, including those in Hinsdale's York Township. The appointment is a new seat, not a reappointment, and comes weeks before the Board of Review opens its next appeal window later this summer.

Hinsdale homeowners who saw assessed values jump an average of 8.2% countywide on the 2025 roll may want to pay attention. The Board of Review is where residents challenge those numbers, and Janopoulos would be hearing cases during the next cycle. Her background and qualifications are not listed in the county agenda.

The board also takes final votes on two other notable items:

$1.71 million disaster recovery contract: Resolution JPS-P-0035-26 would award Logicalis, Inc. a five-year contract to provide disaster recovery services for the Clerk of the Circuit Court's systems, running July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2031. That works out to roughly $342,000 per year, procured through the NCPA intergovernmental cooperative contract. Logicalis is an existing county IT vendor.

Coroner's Office staffing: Resolution FI-R-0088-26 authorizes one new full-time position in the Coroner's Office. The agenda does not specify the job title, noting only that the resolution was amended in committee.

The full agenda also includes reappointment of 10 members to the Expanded Board of Review, seven Board of Health reappointments, a $4.7 million LIHEAP grant acceptance for community services, and a $22,500 budget transfer for poll pad election software.

County Board Chair Deborah Conroy presides. Member Michael Childress is presenting the Board of Review appointment — the same member who moved Patricia Gustin's reappointment to the Board of Review on April 28.
